MTSU Out of the Blue: March 2018

The March 2018 edition of the “Out of the Blue” television magazine program from Middle Tennessee State University, available to watch above, features conversations about the work of the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences with:

Psychology professor Kim Ujcich Ward, who discusses her research into how perceptions of body image, positive and negative, begin in childhood.

Social work professors Nikki Jones and Vickie Harden, who explain how sleep deprivation affects children’s development, particularly in children of color.

• Speech and language professors Rebecca Fischer and Kathryn Blankenship, who discuss the history, growth and service, both to students and to the surrounding community, of the university’s Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Program.

Along with viewing online anytime, you can watch “Out of the Blue,” with host Andrew Oppmann, on Murfreesboro cable Channel 9 daily at 7 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and on NewsChannel5+ at 3:30 p.m. Sundays. “Out of the Blue” also is available as iTunes and Google Play podcasts and on other cable outlets in Middle Tennessee, so check local listings.
