Helpful Tips for Stressing Less

As we all know, college is a lot of things: a jumble of excitement, coffee, alarm clocks, instant meals, and stress  — the kind that keeps you up in the BAS computer lab all night finishing that paper.

Stress is the one thing we tend to dwell on the most, considering it never seems to go away, and the reality of college is that it probably never will. Don’t panic! Stress means you are doing college right because you care as much as you should.

Just this last week, MTSU held a De-stress Fest in the Student Union commons. There were tables and tents all throughout the courtyard, each one offering a different way to release your stress from painting to petting dogs and even learning how to improve your dietary habits to benefit your overall health!

Students could spend as little, or as much, time there as they needed and leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

MTSU offers free tutoring — all year!
