MTSU uses organizations such as International Study Abroad (ISA), Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE), Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA), and University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) to send students all over the world to study a plethora of subjects.
These programs offer more than just class credit, they also offer internship opportunities and service-learning opportunities in places such as Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle-East, and the Pacific.
Any of these programs can be accessed by going to studiesabroad.com.
Studying abroad expands the curriculum by introducing culture and real life experiences to the classroom. These excursions are chaperoned by MTSU’s finest teaching staff and take place during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Scholarships are available to provide students with financial help as well as a step-by-step guide to walk you through the entire process.
College can be expensive, but your education is priceless. What I have gained through my time spent studying at Middle Tennessee State University will follow me through the rest of my life. The opportunities that are available to students attending MTSU are endless, both on and off campus.
