Attorneys provide free legal clinic via Zoom for MTSU student veterans, families April 12-16

The Rutherford and Cannon County Bar Association will be offering free consultation for MTSU student veterans April 12-16.

Because of ongoing COVID-19 safety protocols, all appointments will take place via Zoom.

To schedule an appointment with a licensed attorney, email Elizabeth Wilburn (Elizabeth.Wilburn@mtsu.edu) in the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center by Wednesday, April 7.

Students must have an appointment and all appropriate documentation.

The types of services will include wills and estates, trust, labor/employment/family, law and criminal law, contracts and VA benefits.

The clinic is sponsored by the bar association and the veterans center.

The Daniels Center serves more than 1,000 military-connected student veterans and family members. The 3,200-square-foot center is located in Rooms 124 (main suite) and 316 in Keathley University Center.

The center is the largest and most comprehensive veterans center on any Tennessee higher education campus. It is a one-stop shop to meet a variety of academic needs and find answers to VA questions.
