State Sen. Bill Ketron and President Sidney A. McPhee of Middle Tennessee State University formally reopened MTSU’s historic Murphy Center after a $12.6 million renovation of the four-decades-old multi-purpose facility. Renovations include new lighting, concessions, automatic blinds, a new HVAC unit and updated restrooms. The ceremony was held Thursday, Oct. 30, during “Murphy Madness,” which kicked off the seasons for Blue Raider men’s and women’s basketball. See the ribbon-cutting in the video below:
