MTSU agriculture alumni, friends gather Aug. 31 at The Celebration

The fourth annual MTSU Ag Alumni and Friends Reception at the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration in Shelbyville, Tenn., will be held starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31.

All alumni and friends of the university’s School of Agribusiness and Agriscience are welcome to attend the event, which is held in the Calsonic Arena Hall of Fame Room. Ag school Director Warren Gill extended the invitation from the school’s board of directors.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for ages 18 and under, and includes admission to The Celebration on the night of the various World Grand Championship classes including the Tennessee Walking Horse World Grand Championship. Reservations are required by Thursday, Aug. 29. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the alumni scholarship fund.
