Ten Commandments up for discussion on ‘MTSU On the Record’

An ordained rabbi and a Baptist minister dissected the Ten Commandments in a recent edition of “MTSU On the Record” with host Gina Logue.

Dr. Rami Shapiro, adjunct professor of religious studies at MTSU, and Rev. Michael Smith, senior pastor of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City in Knoxville, are co-authors of Mount and Mountain: A Reverend and a Rabbi Talk about the Ten Commandments. You can listen to their conversation here.

Rather than a point/counterpoint format, the book is a dialogue between two open-minded men of ideas. Shapiro and Smith also are co-authors of Let Us Break Bread Together: A Passover Haggadah for Christians.
