There’s a new name and location for the former MTSU Engineering Technology Open House.
The public and campus community are invited to the Mech-Tech Engineering and Technology Expo, which will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 25, on the Murphy Center track level.
To find Murphy Center and nearby parking, visit http://tinyurl.com/MTParkingMap. Visitors attending the exhibit should obtain a special one-day permit from MTSU’s Office of Parking and Transportation Services office at 1403 E. Main St. or print a visitor pass at https://mtsu.t2hosted.com; visitor permits are $2 per day.
The expo is a celebration of innovation with mechatronics engineering, robotics and other programs in the department.
In addition to experimental vehicles, students’ senior projects and posters will be on display, with prizes for winning posters. There will be refreshments and free T-shirts while they last.
The Department of Engineering Technology is one of 11 College of Basic and Applied Sciences departments at MTSU.
