Meet MTSU during Aug. 17 True Blue Tour kickoff event on campus

Prospective students considering MTSU as a college choice are welcome to attend the True Blue Tour kickoff event for the fall recruiting season.

Students and their parents from Rutherford County and the surrounding area are welcome to attend the free event, which will be held starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, in the Student Union Ballroom, 1768 MTSU Blvd., in the heart of campus. COVID-19 mandates, including the wearing of masks, will be followed at the in-person experience. To find parking, go here.

MTSU officials plan to travel across East, Middle and West Tennessee, to meet and greet prospective students and their families on the tour, plus visits are scheduled to Atlanta, Georgia; Birmingham and Huntsville, Alabama; and Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky.

At the recruiting events, high school and transfer students can learn about financial aid, more than 300 academic programs, housing and the University Honors College.

Prospective students and their parents can speak with MTSU administrators including Provost Mark Byrnes, deans, faculty, staff and students. They can enjoy light refreshments, and register to win scholarships, bookstore gift cards and other prizes.

Admissions and MT One Stop staff and representatives and advisers from the various undergraduate colleges will be available to share about resources available to future Blue Raiders.
