Legos, computers help teach science at MTSU’S Child Development Center (VIDEO)

MTSU’s Child Development Center is a place where college students obtain valuable experience teaching pre-elementary school youngsters. Their work and the children’s daily learning are enhanced by partnerships like the one with Engineering for Kids, a national organization that introduces scientific concepts to preschoolers in a fun way.

On Feb. 18, the Nashville franchise of Engineering for Kids helped the center’s preschoolers make toys with Legos while showing them the scientific principles that give the toys sound and motion.
