Department of Computer Science celebrates 25 years with alumni

As part of MTSU’s Centennial celebration during the University’s Spring 2012 Alumni Weekend, the Department of Computer Science thought it would be a grand time to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Alumni returned to campus April 14 for the Computer Science 25th Anniversary Reunion, which was held in the James Union Building’s Hazlewood Dining Room and in nearby Kirksey Old Main, where the department is located.

Alums reminisced about their years on campus with current faculty and Interim Chair Dr. Chrisila Pettey. Dr. Tom Cheatham, dean of the College of Basic and Applied Sciences, also attended.

Attendees also enjoyed tours through the KOM.
