April 2020 ‘Out of the Blue’ prepares for spring with financial literacy, ‘MTSU Connect,’ Scholars Academy

Middle Tennessee State University‘s “Out of the Blue” TV magazine show looks ahead to spring adventures with our April 2020 edition, featuring news of Financial Literacy Month, a new networking opportunity for students, faculty and alumni called “MTSU Connect,” and an update on our MTSU Scholars Academy. Join us to hear from:

• Dr. Anne Anderson, professor in MTSU’s Department of Economics and Finance and holder of the Weatherford Chair of Finance in the Jones College of Business, who’s helping spread the word on budgeting, saving and preparing for the future during Financial Literacy Month.

Blair Buergler, assistant director for MTSU’s Office of Alumni Relations, who has the latest on “MTSU Connect,” a new networking opportunity for MTSU students and new grads, plus new services for MTSU alumni that include special webinars.

Brelinda Johnson and Travis Strattion of the MTSU Scholars Academy in the Office of Student Success, who lead the team providing a boost to incoming freshmen to help them make the transition to college life.
